I was 22 years old when I went to the police and I didn`t know any of this, but thanks to these meetings, contacts and educational seminars, I learned a lot and I was able to invest beyond my retirement and leave the department in a very good position. And it was a culture where people who were close to retirement talked about what they were doing and how they were planning for it. All of this really helped me and it led me to see a different career option. I`m interested in things I can help others with, just like I was helped.
