John Lanius is Executive Vice President and General Counsel at Fujitsu Network Communications, Inc. He is responsible for establishing the company`s legal strategy and leading various legal and compliance-related activities. John manages litigation and dispute resolution, compliance (including policy and related training), business strategy, business transactions, intellectual property protection, and import and export activities. Prior to joining Fujitsu in 2000, John spent nearly five years with the Dallas-based law firm Munsch Hardt Kopf and Harr, PC, in litigation and corporate services. He began practicing law in Dallas in 1994 in the general litigation division of Strasburger and Price, LLP. John is licensed in the state of Texas as well as in the federal courts of North and East Texas Counties. He is a member of the Texas State Bar, the Association of Corporate Counsel of America and the Dallas Bar Association. John has held leadership positions in a number of local community organizations and was recently elected to the Richardson Symphony Orchestra Board of Directors for a second term. John received his Bachelor of Arts degree with honors from the University of Texas at Austin in 1991 and his J.D.

from Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, DC in 1994.
