Law School Korean Drama Review

If there`s a counterpart to Sol B in the drama, it`s Seo Ji-ho (David Lee). He is persevering and a goalscorer. He studies law with a game plan and welcomes help from others. He seems cold and ruthless when it comes to notes, but he`s a good guy. Next up is our best boy Min Bok-gi (Lee Kang-ji) – who I think is Sol A`s counterpart when it comes to Acads. Laughing out loud. We`ve only seen Bok-gi`s school life throughout the series, so it`s safe to say that he`s a cute secondary character whose main goal is to protect Ye-alone at all costs. I don`t mind watching a spin-off series featuring just both! Kim Myung Min and Lee Jung Eun anchored most of the experienced cast presence in the same way that Kim Bum and Ryu Hye Young represented the team of young actors. They are all phenomenal for the characters they fit into. The drama offers rigorous but effective mentorship and also addresses the role of educators in establishing a commendable work ethic for their students.

And then there`s Kang Sol B (Lee so-kyung), the “perfect” disciple—beauty, intellect, strong will, relationships, and wealth. She is the typical Tsundere with a predictable past that haunts her. An alpha character who hides a secret that she believes will destroy her life. She plagiarized a paper against her will at such a young age because of the pressure of her annoying and delusional mother. Fortunately, their story arc was somehow bought out because the school accepted them by their own abilities and not by paperwork. It`s just sad that her mother terrorized her to the end. The series ends with the two main student characters achieving their goals. Professor Yang continues to teach at the school.

In other words, the show ends in a way that doesn`t really mean there will be another season, which is sad. The Korean drama law school enjoys high ratings and even tops Netflix`s global rankings, which means it`s good. If you haven`t started seeing law school yet, we`ve put together the reasons why you should. I hate it when a lead role is abused in a drama I see. Here in law school, their attitude to this is very instructive. It introduces a new perspective into the victim`s shoes. I would also like to congratulate the fact that the programme was able to present this theme properly. This cleverly written series, which directly traverses the world of Korean law students, made the most of their material. By focusing on his unique characters and interweaving each story with the big picture, we felt like we were sitting back and listening to the long speech of an eloquent speaker.

We also shared our thoughts on the drama at the end of this Korean law school theater review. This article contains spoilers – you don`t want to read spoilers, watch episode 1 before reading this. We have seen students at Hanguk University`s Faculty of Law recognize the reality of how lives can be changed, saved or destroyed. As future practitioners, they get a taste of how protecting the innocent or proving wrongdoing requires unwavering conviction and valid evidence. Law students and professors are the protagonists of the series. By presenting a large cast, it intelligently integrates a number of villains that is relatively not large. However, prepare to be bombarded with legalese. The characters in the drama tend to speak quickly when it comes to regurgitating their knowledge. What shows will you remember? Since we haven`t seen legal K-dramas before law school (they exist, we just haven`t seen them), we think Law School conveys a similar atmosphere to the recently launched Law & Order: Organized Crime. However, Kim Myung-min is more of a type of slow-burning lead than Christopher Meloni.

You can also make strong comparisons with How To Get Away With Murder. Meanwhile, another teacher, Kim Eun-sook (Lee Jung-eun), deals with the release of Le Man-ho (Jo Jae-ryong), a rapist whom she forced into a lenient sentence as a judge 11 years ago. This case led her to leave the bank and teach civil law in school, using a light-hearted method that was different from the Socratic method used by Yang. After Seo`s murder, she thinks about her baby, who was put in danger seven months earlier when Le entered her classroom and traumatized her and her students.
